Faliraki is the largest and oldest resort on the Greek island of Rhodes, located in Faliraki Bay on the northeast coast of the island. After a hard night of clubbing until the early hours man holidaymakers choose to relax on the long stretch of beautiful beach, where you can simply soak up the sun’s rays, or try one of the countless water sports such as water skiing, windsurfing and parascending. You can find other water-born excitement at Faliraki’s famous water park, the biggest in Europe. Holidays to Faliraki wouldn’t be complete without a trip to Rhodes Town, which is only about six miles away, and accessible via the regular bus service. Here there are plenty historical sites to discover such as the Palace of the Grand Masters and the Mandraki harbour, the old town itself is a World Heritage Site. This is also the ideal place to some more upper-class shopping in some of the chic boutique stores. Other popular excursions on Faliraki holidays include a trip to the island of Symi, the mainland of Turkey or even just a trip around the Island of Rhodes, discovering all the beautiful bays and coves.
