The museum opened in July 2000 and the space covers a staggering 3,200 square meters and is set over five floors. All five floors have distinctive themes to them, which help to add to the excitement. There’s the Archaeology of Cinema, the Video Camera, a collection of cinema posters, video installations and The Great Temple, where you can sit back in comfortable chairs and watch classic Italian films projected on giant screens overhead. Situated in a spectacular setting, the museum boasts interesting artefacts from the collection of the Maria Adrianna Prolo Foundation that include magic lanterns, optical illusions, photographs and intriguing drawings, all set amongst a fascinating array of other movie memorabilia.

The airport of Turin is placed north of the city and is named Caselle International Airport. Flights to Turin are operated into this airport and prices can be very cheap. Some low cost airlines such as Ryanair offer flights here, which again can be found extremely cheap. Hotels in Turin complement the rest of the architecture here, they are all beautiful, many are quaint little properties, and all offer traditional Italian charm.
